  1. Spotting on days 20 and 21 of your cycle a sign of low progesterone?
This month I am taking Ovulex to help boost my chance to get pregnant. On day 15 of my cycle I got a really dark ovulation strip. They continued to be dark for several days. So I know I ovulated. My period started 2/15. I wonder is this cycle a bust due to the spotting? Has anyone had spotting mid cycle and still got their BFP?

    • If you suspect progesterone problems you should be charting your BBT, because it indicates prog directly. It also tells when you ovulate. See below.

  2. What do all the shortened words mean in ttc discussions?
Can anyone do me a little list of what everything means? Obviously ttc means trying to conceive, and af is something to do with your period coming but what does it actually stand for? And when people refer to the DH? A mini list would be very useful!! Thank you :-)

    • I got this off http://www.twoweekwait.com. A GREAT SITE!!! You should have a look! Keeps you occupied while waiting to take a test!

  4. Can stress lower your fertily and the chance to get pregnant?
Overthinking getting pregnant and hoping too much on it, decreases the chance of getting pregnant? How can you loosen up and just let it flow? I just seems that when young ppl aren’t thinking about it, they get pregnant. But TTC and not a chance? *sigh*

    Any good answers?
And obession for wanting a baby?

    • Recent research published in the journal of Human Reproduction, compared pregnancy rates in couples that reported being stressed and those who were not.

What they found: pregnancy was much more likely to occur during months when couples reported feeling “good” — happy and relaxed. It was less likely to occur during the months they reported feeling tense or anxious.

My own experience is leading me to believe stress may be a big factor in why we have not yet conceived after trying for almost 4 months.
TTC#1 has consumed all of my thoughts and I am soo upset every month when my AF arrives.
I just don’t believe I am one of those people who will “fall pregnant”
but I am starting to realize the stress / anxiety isn’t help.

We haven’t given up TTC#1 but we did stop making it a “project”
This month we giving up the OPK’s, BBT, and CM tracking.

We plan to BD whenever the moment hits us and who knows maybe this will finally be that month for our BFP..

I wish I could give you great advice but since I am going through the same emotions all I can say is your not alone :)

I wish tons of luck and plenty of ultra sticky baby dust
